Hardbags.com is a division of Wittco Enterprises, a
   fiberglass products manufacturer since 1982

Here at Wittco Enterprises, the knowledge of how to build products that will last goes back a long way.  The task of manufacturing fiberglass parts isn't difficult to learn, but the knowledge of HOW to produce them correctly so that they will hold up after years of service is where experience pays off. In the early seventies when I began my fiberglass career at Apollo Boats, we were building high performance ski boats and race boats. Only the absolute best techniques and materials have to be used for a boat hull to withstand the forces incurred from high horsepower ski boats and race boats which attain speeds of 100 m.p.h. and up. Beginning in 1977 I was partnered with Jim Youngblood and we built Youngblood Jet Boats  until late 1981.  From 1982 to 1991, I did contract work for Concord Boats as their gelcoating and graphics design specialist. I was also their plant manager for two years.
Also in 1982  I formed  Wittco Enterprises and moved into different product lines. I carried the knowledge of building race boats over to all the various products I have built. My expertise has allowed me to manufacture aircraft parts, which of course have to be of the highest quality, and parts for the big 18 wheelers, which are subjected to unbelievable vibration and stress. We've manufactured many other products over the years.

The prototype of this little train was created from plywood, 2 X 4s and putty. I made the molds from the prototype and then manufactured the completed trains and shipped them to amusement parks around the U.S. and Mexico. Maybe you've seen one somewhere.
Low profile jet boats and outboards were my specialty for years. The boat at the right and the hulls below were built in my shop in Cabot, AR during the 80's and 90's
I still occasionally produce the boat above as well as the flatbottoms below
Some products I used to build are these Peterbilt cab/sleeper fairings for J-Mar Express which is owned by Mark Martin of NASCAR auto racing
This Youngblood TX-20 was designed by Jim Youngblood and myself and first produced in the late '70's. The prototype project for this boat took us about 3 months to complete and the first finished product was featured in the Dallas trade show. It was a very proud moment for me since this was the first big prototype project I undertook. As with the little train, the prototype started out as plywood, 2 X 4s and putty.
